I have been keeping boas for more than fifteen years now. My first snake was a Rosy boa that a childhood friend and I caught near Lake Ellsinore in California. We kept the animal successfully for some time before we released it back into the wild in the same area where we originally caught the animal. Over the years I have kept a wide array of snakes and lizards finally narrowing my love and focus down to the BCI and BCC species.
